Chief Construction Company was awarded two safety awards on February 1, 2007.

Chief Construction Company and Heartland Electric received an award for their outstanding safety record for their work completed on the Proctor and Gamble project in Aurora, Nebraska.  The project started in August, 2005, and was completed in December, 2006.  Chief Construction Company and Heartland Electric completed the entire project with no recordable injuries. 

Chief Construction Company received an award for their outstanding safety performance on the Proctor and Gamble project.  The project consisted of a 240,000 sq. ft. dock high pre-engineered metal building, guard house, pump house and over 530,000 sq. ft. of 8” concrete paving.  The project was completed in just over 84,000 man hours.  Over 50 different subcontractors were on site to complete the work.  The award was presented to Chief Construction Company by Marc McClure (Health, Safety & Environmental Program Leader) with Proctor and Gamble.
